Self Promotion For My Dear Friends
Created a series of apparel in ode to my skater friends back in high school. During lunch break, we would go under the bleachers to hit a joint. They would always ask “Yo Elbert, what do you do again? You paint and make movie posters right?”.
This sparked my interest that instead of handing out business cards, I would construct everyday-wear that could be seen and reminded by constantly. These include a beanie to represent the mind, a welcome mat for where I stand for in my career and gloves for what I did best with the hands. A very fun exercise and the first of many experimenting with sewing.

Collaborated with Phillip Kim and his magazine, VIDI, to create a poster within a series titled “LA ME”. (VIDI Social Site)
Participated with a series of designers for Sundae School to create a poster for a pop-up held in SOHO, New York. The concept for this series is titled “What do you do at 4:20pm”. (SUNDAE SCHOOL Social Post).
