About:
Growing up in the east suburbs of Los Angeles, it was inevitable that skateboarding would play a role in my childhood. Whether in the blistering heat or (very rare) freezing cold, my 14 year-old self was addicted to the sweat, bruises and baggy pants. Skating has taught me the value of persistence, patience and understanding how to fall. You fall, and however hard and painful it may be, you eventually get up, rest and resume for the love of it. That’s the motto to the practice and to practically anything I pursue in life. Hey I’m Elbert, a multidisciplinary designer and skater who falls a lot.
