Before moving back to Los Angeles, I wanted to make a personal project dedicated to New York and New Yorkers. Through my daily commutes, I was inspired by the gloomy weather of NY and how on certain seasons of the year, there is a lack of sunshine and upset faces on the streets.
Happy Shoes is a reminder for New Yorkers to make their own sunshine even when there is snow, rain, hail or blizzards. These shoes leave a temporary reminder for people to be warm during cold times.
